This past week I was given a prescription to fill for 3 pills. It was not covered by insurance,my podiatrist prescribed it but said the only way to get it was by cash payment. Well that would be fine if it wasn't $25. Yup. $25 for THREE pills. And there is no generic option for what I needed.
I checked with Costco to see if it would be cheaper there...only by a dollar or two. Then my pharmacist suggested something I would have never thought of. She suggested I go to the prescribed pill's website and sometimes they have a discount card you can use.
Guess what?! They did! Super easy to download and have in my email, on my phone, to bring right to the pharamacy. The discount was $10! The card won't have you pay more than $15 ever for that prescription! It is now also saved in my account at the pharmacy should I ever be prescribed that again. Who knew there were coupons on pharmaceuticals??!!?? Healthcare can be costly so I hope this helps out someone! Please pass this information on to anyone you think it could help. We all could use these savings. Every little bit helps!

I, like you, spent a bit too much time away from my chair by eating at the table with my family instead of going back to my recliner. I surely should have gone right back to my chair and then I wouldn't be sitting here at 3:00 AM waiting for my next pain med.
